In Live Your Life Now, author George T. Smiling not only discusses why you were created but he also deals with the factors that will help you become the person you were meant to be. Through using biblical stories and Scriptures, mixed with personal testimonies from the lives of others and his own, he encourages you to stop making excuses and to start taking action while you have time to do so. You will find the simple outline and this easy-to-read book to be both a blessing and inspiration.
Why did you write this book? Is there any “back story” that inspired you to write this book? For years I had always contemplated writing a book. After several deaths in my family, I realized that I need to do what I wanted to do since I was not getting any younger. I basically wrote this book to inspire and motivate others to action in knowing that there’s still hope for them to begin or begin again.
What are your FIVE key messages or talking points? If you were allowed to only make FIVE statements about your book’s theme or message what do you want readers/listeners to remember about you and or your book? 1. Your life is very special and God has a purpose for your being here on earth. 2. Start living your life right now regardless of how many times you may have failed. 3. Keep reaching for your goals until you make it. 4. Do what you feel passionate about. 5. Allow others to help you and seek to help others on your way to fulfilling your dreams.
What is the most controversial aspect of your message or book, if applicable? It is talking about deaths in my family and parents struggles.
What themes in your book do you believe are relevant to current news topics, society, the world, or life in general? (Please list at least 3)1. Each person is important and has meaning and purpose. 2. You are not defined by what you do but by who you are. 3. Find something you feel passionate about and do that.
Are you comfortable talking about your book in public? Yes and this is something I find easy to talk about and is willing to share with others.
Is your book based on your own life in any way? If so, please explain: Yes it is basically a small biography of my life. I am the main character although I use other family members and friends to help others understand me. Chapter 16 is when I really discuss myself more in depth and clearly. But all through the book it includes a lot about me and my family.
How is your book different than others out in the market? This book is written to deal with the spiritual/emotional side of people. It is not a self help book but it does offer others help in understanding their spiritual life is important and they have a greater purpose in life beyond just making money.
